Celebrations At Padre Pio's Home for Children

"Birthday celebrations would usually mean cutting cakes, hosting a private party, going on long ride with friends or treating and many more. But for me, the best way to celebrate birthday, is with the orphans."

Last July 29, Sunday evening another charity event for Padre Pio's Home for Children was held. It was a  night full of music and talents. Children showcased their talents in playing bandurria and some invited friends like The Singkopate (The X Factor qualifier - Mindanao) and Rio Remonde also add up in entertaining the people. The said event was really for encouraging the children to develop their own talent in music and it was successful because they were able to present. Friends are so happy to see these young children maximizing all God given talents.

Aside from showcasing different talents, the night was also to celebrate birthdays of the orphans. Four of them was celebrating their birthday on the same month - July. Sweet Advocate and Beverly Sanz made a cake for each of the celebrants. Families and friends were also present and able to gave their wishes to the celebrants. It was very touching moment when one "Lola" of the celebrant gave her message to her "apo". Both of them were actually selling plastic bottle just to survive in their living. Sister Martha also gave her inspiring message to the celebrants.

Add up to the celebrations was the launching of the new project - Shirt For A Cause and thanksgiving for a successful Back to School Gift Giving Project. The said event wouldn't be possible if not because of the people who helped and extended their help. Thank you so much folks!!! Another captured smile add up to the Children of Padre Pio's Home for Children.
