Mt. Fuji of Japan Up Close

I had never imagined that id be seeing Mt Fuji that close. In fact, in my itinerary for Japan, it was not on the list. I really had no idea that my Japan trip would be as memorable as this.

First, i want to say thank you to Kitamura family for this wonderful experience. Both Mrs Kitamura and his son Eiji Kitamura were my students. And to Mr Kitamura for being so kind and accommodating in spite of the language barriers.

Hotel Mt. Fuji. This was the hotel where we stayed for one night for our Mt Fuji experience. As you can see below its very close to the mountain. It was actually on top of a hill crossing Mt Fuji and surrounded by trees.

Staying in this hotel for a night made my Japan trip more memorable. It was a dream come true to wake up with 10 degrees celcius weather temperature ,and with the view of Mt Fuji.

Onsen. A term used to describe the experience of a hot spring in Japanese. Since i went to Japan autumn, it was very common to hotels to offer onsen. It was my first time to try Onsen in Hotel Fuji. And i had no idea what an onsen looked like.

Internet Photo. This was exactly the Hotel onsen.

Autumn Leaves. Originally, i was planning to go to Kyoto to experience autumn leaves but when we went to this place, exactly from the Subaru line, i saw autumn leaves. One of the main reasons why i really wanted to visit Japan was because of the autumn leaves and it can only be seen during autumn season. i was so happy to finally got the chance to see personally.

Indeed, the whole experience was fun, unforgettable, and something that i will always be thankful for. Thanks to Kitamura family, I will forever be grateful to your family for such a wonderful experience. 'Till we meet again!
